Las Salinas is a recent (2003) quiet development of 31 Townhouses with 2 superb swimming pools, spectacular gardens with Palm, Lemon, Acacia and Orange trees and is approached from the elegant Alameda del Mar - the Central Avenue of the very exclusive and secure Bahia de Marbella, 2km east of Marbella. Unlike so many areas of the Costa del Sol, building work in this immediate area has finished, so early mornings echo to the sounds of birds - not bulldozers! If you want pampering at affordable luxury in one of the great holiday regions of Europe, where the sun shines 320 days a year- read on.

The beach at Los Monteros (this area of Marbella) is a superb sandy beach 100 metres from your front door, with glorious safe sea bathing in fabulous warm and shallow water. You do not have to cross any roads to get to the beach here. The beach is cleaned every day, and with the area’s proximity to the Atlantic at Gibraltar, there is a small “tide” which means that the water here is wonderfully clean. There are numerous “chiringuitos” (beach restaurants) and bars within walking distance along the beach in both directions. If you walk to Marbella along the beach it will take around 45 minutes - normally longer as you pass some bars along the way, (and walking is thirsty work!) If you take a taxi back from Marbella expect to pay around 9 Euros.

The house has 2 terraces overlooking the community’s 2 swimming pools.The larger pool is heated to 26+ degrees C YEAR ROUND. The garden terrace, equipped with Barbeque, table and chairs and with comfortable additional seating and, has views over the pools. From this terrace you can watch the sun go down with a drink in your hand, whilst watching your children in the pools

The garden terrace on the ground floor, is reached by sliding doors from the well equipped lounge, is perfect for that Sundowner or a quiet alfresco meal at the table and chairs provided.

For families & children Las Salinas is a delight, as the pools are in full view of the house, with grass areas for children to play on. The secure community means they cannot “wander” off the complex easily.

The house has three large Double bedrooms (1 double 2 twins) , all en-suite, one with a spa-bath, with bath, shower, bidet and WC, and is supplied with bed linen and bath towels, please bring your own pool and beach towels.

Air-conditioning is provided in all rooms and winter guests can use the same system to heat the rooms on those cooler winter nights.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with Bosch Appliances, Fridge-Freezer, Hob, Oven, Dishwasher, Washing Machine-Dryer, Microwave, and ample cupboards with crockery, cutlery and glasses provided.

The lounge is fully equipped with TV, Radio, DVD, Free-view Satellite Television, a fireplace, luxurious furnishings, dining table with six chairs, plus superb sofa and easy chairs.

Whatever sport you wish is available close by Las Salinas. Championship Golf Courses abound, (there are three almost within walking distance). Kite surfing is often seen on breezy days off the beach. There is Water skiing, Windsurfing, Scuba diving - all in the area, and in the winter (November to Mid-April) snow skiing 2 hours away near to Granada. (It is possible in Spring to snow ski in the morning & water ski in the sea in the afternoon.) A car here is highly recommended. We can arrange Car Hire, Transfers, (Malaga Airport 30 minutes) Welcome Pack Essentials (milk, bread etc) and you will always be met on arrival at Las Salinas by one of us.
