San Roque Golf Resort with 2 Championship courses, home of the Spanish Open, is located just above Sotogrande on Spain’s gloriously sandy south coast. The villa is next to the 13th Fairway.
The San Roque resort boasts Restaurants, bars, suites hotel and huge swimming pool with pool bar, just a stroll alongside the fairway of the 12th hole. There is a Horse Riding Centre and school, where riders of all ages and experience can find suitable mounts. Close by are Sotogrande, Almanera and Valderama (Ryder Cup & Volvo Masters) golf courses. Here you can experience superb golf, while your family can enjoy relaxing in luxurious surroundings with their own private heated pool. The Villa has 4 large Double bedrooms, - the bedrooms all have en-suite facilities with double basins, bath/shower, bidet and WC. The master bedroom has its own large terrace overlooking the course. The ground-floor bedroom is equipped with 4 adult sized bunk beds for children or adults. Air-conditioning/heating is provided in all rooms. Finally the top floor is a huge terrace with chairs and tables and BBQ, to sit and eat, lounge or just enjoy a sundowner overlooking the Andalucian Mountains and the beauty of the San Roque Golf Resort.
There is a fully equipped Siemens kitchen with Microwave, Fridge-Freezer, Hob (Range-top), Dishwasher, Breakfast Washing Machine, ample cupboards with crockery, cutlery and glasses provided. The lounge is fully equipped with TV, Radio, DVD, Satellite Television, a fireplace, luxurious dining table with chairs, plus superb sofa and chairs. An enclosed garden heated swimming pool and large terraces, reached by sliding doors from the lounge, is perfect for a quiet alfresco meal, and keeping an eye on children swimming in the private pool (1m – 1.5m deep)
The beach at Alcadesa is a superb Sandy beach, and is only a 5 minute drive away. Sotogrande beach club is a similar distance, with a wide range of water sports. Or you can just look at the countless boats in the harbour of this new and exclusive resort, having a drink in one of the many restaurants and bars around the port.
Whatever sport you wish is available close by. Other Championship Golf Courses abound along the whole coast. Don’t forget this is also the “Costa del Golf”. Kite surfing is often seen on breezy days off the beach. There is Water skiing, Sailing, Windsurfing, Scuba diving - all in the area, and in the winter (November to Mid-April) snow skiing 3 hours away near to Granada. (It is possible in Spring to snow ski in the morning & water ski in the sea in the afternoon.) A car here is essential. All linen is provided but, please bring your own pool and beach towels. We can arrange Car Hire, Transfers, (Malaga Airport 60 minutes, Gibraltar 30 minutes, Jerez 90 minutes) High Chairs, Baby Cots,Maid Service,Welcome Essential packs (milk, bread etc) and you will always be met on arrival at San Roque by one of us.
